Service Description

The 5 session workshop takes you and your team from hardship and adversity to set up resilience as a routine and practice. Topics include: What is Resilience and Why Do We Need It? The Science of Trauma and Adversity - how our brains and bodies react when times are tough The 6 Building Blocks for Resilience BBG’s signature program that walks through the elements we all need, including information about how our children (and adults who grew up with adversity) need certain building blocks to support ongoing and lifelong resilient responses to high levels of stress and trauma. The Roadmap to Resilience - how to establish resilience practices throughout your day and the people, places, and practices we can put into place to make our lives and organizations resilience-builders. This session will provide participants with take-home/take-to-work plans for making small, powerful changes to daily life. Envisioning a Resilient World - Using Superhero storytelling as the basis for making meaning out of tragedy, adversity, and life’s greatest challenges. We will explore what being resilient feels and looks like for us personally and for the future of our communities and global outlooks. Length: 5 Workshops 1.5 hours each presented on a weekly schedule.
